Nicole Donaldson (born in South Africa, 1981) is an abstract artist working in mixed media.

Raised as the daughter of an artist, Nicole cultivated a profound appreciation for art from a young age. She pursued studies at Chelsea College of Art & Design in London in 2007, shaping the foundation for her art.

Nicole’s art is characterized by a process-intensive approach. Her creations involve the incorporation of layers of cement, paint, and ephemera. By continually adding and subtracting materials, Donaldson builds paintings with a weathered surface, allowing textures and marks to consistently unveil themselves. Her travels in Africa have fueled her passion for organic materials and earthy color palettes.

In addition to her painting endeavors, she has also gained over 15 years of experience as an art dealer, operating in London, South Africa, and the United States. She now runs her own art advisory service, UNTITLED, in Texas.
